Beautiful celebrates 6000 episodes

After the 24th year of programming, Beautiful, the most popular soap opera of all time reaching the 6000 episodes, aired in the United States.

The series was created in 1987 by William J. Lee Bell and currently deals with the soap, his son Bradley P. Bell.

To celebrate this extraordinary milestone was organized a big party in Los Angeles, which was attended by the entire cast of the television series, as well as being presented for the first time the new code. At the party were all the players stood out including Ronn Moss (Ridge Forrester), Susan Flannery (Stephanie), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) and John McCook (Eric Forrester), the only four players from the first episode.

In the 6000 episode, the authors have decided to match fiction to reality, interacting public figures that actually beat the cancer, with the character of Nick Marone, who find that has lung cancer.

The series is followed by more than 35 million viewers a day in over 100 countries, proving for the fifth consecutive year the more soap opera 'view of the world.

Beautiful over the years has also won numerous riconosciscimenti as the Emmy Award for Best Soap Opera in 2010 and Golden Nymph at Monte Carlo Television Festival.
