Nicole Richie and Joel Madden: a marriage of princess

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were married this weekend during a private ceremony with Lionel Richie. 150 guests and an elephant made the trip.

Nicole Richie has finally said yes to Joel Madden the man who shares his life for the past 4 years.

With him, the former best friend Paris Hilton has found a taste for life and especially had 2 beautiful children. Harlow Winter Kate born in January 2008 and James Sparrow Midnight born in September 2009.

The wedding was only a formality for the fashionista mom and dad rocker and there held in grand style on Saturday 11 December.

It’s Lionel Richie, the adoptive father of Nicole, who arranged the marriage of his darling, his villa in Bel Air.

However, no traces of Christina Aguilera and Kim Kardashian who could not attend the ceremony.

Stylist Rachel Zoe was also part and Benji Madden, twin brother of Joel and Josh. And guess what, it is Joseph Simmons aka Rev. Run (Run DMC founder of Reverend and in life) who united lovers.

The wedding theme was winter, a season dear to the heart of Nicole and Joel’s middle name as their daughter Winter (winter in English).

The wedding dress was signed Marchesa and worth the tidy sum of 15,000 euros. Nicole Richie who has long hesitated finally decided for this dress instead of a Chanel model.

Her hair has been entrusted with hairdressers Byron Wylliams the creator of a highly rated hairdresser in Beverly Hills.

As for alliances, they were signed by Neil Lane, the same jeweler who created her engagement ring.

The icing on the cake, guests were surprised to see an elephant and its mahout land in the ceremony. They delivered a spectacular show for the enjoyment of guests.
