Ricky Martin naked life with Oprah
Thrilled by the reception from the public in the study of Oprah talking about controversial topics such as homophobia, clarifying that it is not bisexual but a gay man and showing little-known images of family life with their twins. Ricky Martin stripped his soul in the popular show for an hour following the publication of his book ‘Me’.
One of the first things Oprah asked the Puerto Rican star was why he had decided in March this year announced via Twitter that he was gay. To which previously had not been prepared and felt a great relief and breathing room when he did.
What about Ricky Martin’s statements on Oprah?
“I was in my study. I was left alone for a minute and took my assistant and I began to mourn as a baby, he hugged me and said, let it go, let it go, you’re finally free.”

Ricky Martin clarified that the identified sexual preference since I was little. “I always felt attraction, I was four or five years and was a chemist. I felt something when I went to school for the first time I asked: How many girlfriends do you have? And I said, ‘do not understand what you say to me’” .
The Ricky Martin commented interview with Barbara Walters in 2000 was another topic of conversation with Oprah. The singer admitted that she felt invaded, raped and it was not the time to confess if he was gay or not.
“I have great respect for Barbara. It is a great journalist and she was doing her job but I was like hitting,” he revealed. “She kept insisting and insisting and I was not ready. That was not my time,” he said.
“I felt angry because after all I felt invaded,” he said. “I felt violated in many ways. It was not the first time I asked this on television but this was a very important TV show.”
Oprah asked if the barrage of questions about whether he was gay or had not been further from the truth. “It was treated in a very outrageous and people were already making fun of my sexuality. I was rejecting it, I would hate myself. That’s why I insist when someone is not ready we can not force a out, “he said.
Ricky Martin also revealed that the first time you fell in love with a man, age 21, was left with a broken heart and was determined to make his career for love.
“I was ready to leave everything, I said we live in Europe, Asia, I was ready to leave my career because I was not ready to tell anybody” he said. “But he told me that my mission in life was different, I said your mission is very clear. you move masses of people and me I can not make it, if something goes wrong between us, you’re going to blame it were some very nice words maybe he was not so in love with me as I of him, “shared the singer.
Ricky said his mother identified what was wrong and that was the first time he confessed he was gay.
The singer of ‘La Vida Loca’ Oprah acknowledged that he had been attracted to women but clarified. “I’m not bisexual. I am a gay man.”
It also addressed the issue of how was the process of deciding who wanted to have her twins, Valentino and Matthew, through a surrogate mother. “I wanted to do things right I made through an agency, with lawyers to make sure everything was OK” he admitted.
He spoke of women who had been leading in her womb for nine months small. “It’s a married woman … I interviewed her by phone and asked, ‘Why do this? And said,’ because I am a very spiritual woman and I never feel closer to God at that moment when I can you give life to someone who can not ‘. ”
Ricky confessed that at that time knew it was the right person. He also explained how to address the issue when your children ask about her birth mother. “I say that with God’s help everything is aligned so that you were in my life, I love you and you love me and no family is equal, families with mom and dad, family with two moms, families with two parents and I’m the mom and dad and try to do better and we should feel proud of it, “he admitted.
Oprah presented the artist recorded testimonies of gay people whose lives had been impacted since the singer confessed his sexual preference.
“Believe me, if I had known how special that I would feel I had done 10 years earlier. I felt a sense of peace that I never thought I would feel but again everyone is going through its own process.”
Ricky read an excerpt from his book and hopes that one day their children to read and understand the spiritual journey he had to experience to feel the joy of becoming a father.
