Live comedy
Live comedy (also called stand-up comedy by name Anglophone) is a style of comedy where the actor speaks directly to an audience present. Unlike theater comedian in vivo interacts with the public, establishing dialogues with some of its viewers. A person who performs stand-up comedy is generally known as a comedian in vivo, comic standing (the anglicized stand-up).

The comedian usually recites in a rapid succession a series of humorous stories, short jokes (called “bits” or “pieces” or simple one-line jokes, all this forms what is known typically as a monologue, routine or act.
