Michael Jackson’s parents in divorce after 60 years of marriage
The parents of Michael Jackson are set to divorce after 60 years of marriage after the mother of Katherine King of Pop is sick of the cruel conduct of her husband Joe.
The couple moved away five years ago but the matriarch of the family have decided to seek a divorce after Joe, 81, suggested she was to blame for crash death of his son last year.
Mr. Jackson, who was accused of abusing a child Michael said in June: “I asked to go and stay with him, but she insisted that he needed his privacy.”
The couple moved away five years ago and live apart.
Ms. Jackson has sole custody of three children of her deceased son, Prince Michael, 13 Paris, 12 and “Blanket” 8 in Encino, California and Mr. Jackson based in Las Vegas.
Although he was separated Mrs. Jackson said she was reluctant to officially end the marriage, because as a Jehovah’s Witness who does not believe in divorce. The couple, parents of children, including nine members of Michael Jackson 5, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon, were married in November 1949 and have 26 grandchildren.
They put on a united front to support Michael during the child molestation allegations against him and regretted side by side at his funeral after his death in June last year at age 50.
In 2007, Michael accused his father that he does not mention in his will because he beat as a child. “My father rehearse with a belt in his hand could not spoil. Never get spanked during rehearsals or practice but later when I got into trouble “said the singer.
