Gloria Trevi attends to give evidence if her mother
Mexican singer Gloria Trevi in addition to his three brothers Manuel and Luis Ramiro were presented to testify Thursday in a court in Monterrey, Mexico as part of the process that he follows his mother, Gloria Ruiz for crimes tax evasion that was accused in his country for the sale of a house.
Oscar Flores a lawyer for Ms. Ruiz stated that the intent of this hearing requested by the prosecution was to testify that all but Gloria had lived in the house the lady until the end of 1998.
“Each and every one of them stated that actually lived there since 1979 until 1997 then except for Gloria, she declined to testify because she lived very few years to when she went to study abroad and did not return to that building, then the statement she really had no purpose.
Because there is still some evidence in this process Ms. Ruiz could stay a few more months in prison but according to the lawyer are confident we can prove his innocence:
“Very confident because he knows perfectly well that is unjustly imprisoned. she is accused of having sold a property and that no taxes are paid in the 94 years since she was exempt from this tax because they lived there in that property. ”
Arredondo Gloria Ruiz was arrested on 5 March in Panama and deported from Mexico City to charges of tax evasion for about 28 million pesos.
