Julia Roberts and Javier Bardem, together in Cancun
As part of a promotional tour Javier Bardem and Julia Roberts traveled to Cancun, Mexico to talk to the press about their new film ‘Eat Pray Love’ based on the bestselling author Elizabeth Gilbert.
In the film, Julia portrays a divorced woman who travels for a year to find herself, and you get to Italy, India and Indonesia. It is here in Bali. where he meets the character Bardem. The pair said some stories while in the Mexican beach:
Bardem said he admires the talent of her co-star. “While Julia is in a position that can do what he wants in his career, with his eyes closed prefer to take another direction and approach their work with great dedication and energy.”
On the spiritual theme of the film, whose three parts are “Eat, pray and love,” Bardem admits that it is not a religious person. “No prayer, as I have said before. I do not believe in God. I believe in Al Pacino.”
The pair also at the conference was accompanied by actor Richard Jenkins and film director, Ryan Murphy, known for being behind the series’ Glee ‘and’ Nip / Tuck. ”
‘Eat Pray Love is produced by Brad Pitt and also act James Franco and Billy Crudup. Be unveiled in the U.S. in August and a month later in Latin America.
