Survival of the Dead (The new film by George Romero)
Synopsis: Barely a week since the dead started to walk, the world has become an absolute mess. A group of soldiers, led by a tough sergeant, decided to take refuge in a nearby island without imagining that the alleged paradise is also the conflicting scenario of the long dispute that has two extended families, the O’Flynns and Muldons.
Review: Since I was a little freak I had loved the George Romero movies, especially the first 3. I waited a long time forward to the fourth film of the zombie genre, so far great director, and well, went to the movies and I really liked, did not go out at all disappointed. I thought, when removing the following will be at least as good.

Then a couple of days ago I saw this new release called Survival of the Dead . Frankly, not very bad start, a few funny points, but begin to see something strange, zombie makeup is awful, much worse than most people dress up to go to the Zombie Pride March. I thought it would be a joke in the movie but not, Mr. Romero had a budget of 5 dollars for makeup and cheesy computer effects.
If you thought that the makeup would be the worst of Survival of the Dead I was wrong. The performances are the most regrettable that I have seen in years, but not as much as his script, from zombies to ride horses and go in front of people as usual, at the most stupid people are determined to teach them to eat again anything but human flesh.
Hats off to this great idea, I can only say olé his holy hell, Mr. Romero, you have to shoot them like nonsense Gordis.
