Mel Gibson and ended with his Russian girlfriend
Mel Gibson and his girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva have ended their relationship after a highly publicized romance that began after the divorce from the actor and took them to have a baby together. According to a source of People the couple broke up “after going away.”
Mel and Oksana, anyway, “are working together in their careers and trying to raise a sweet baby together. They will remain friends and both will raise Lucia together.”
The U.S. magazine also confirms the separation adding that the pair broke “months ago” but still “very friendly”.
Grigorieva Gibson made headlines worldwide when their romance was Robyn Gibson – Mel’s wife for almost 30 years and mother of seven children – to put the divorce papers in April 2009. When they announced the divorce issued a statement: “Throughout our marriage and separation, we have always strived to maintain the privacy and integrity of our family and will continue.”
Only a month after their separation, Gibson announced he was expecting a baby with Oksana, and soon revealed that they were engaged. A wedding date has never been publicly disclosed.
Grigorieva, a Russian model and singer, also has a son with Timothy Dalton, who played 007. Gibson gave him one of his videos, for the song “Beautiful Heartbreak.” The baby was born just two in October.
