Everyone is speculating about True Blood these days, and if you’re you’re not then you’re not watching. If you’re not watching you are either too poor for HBO or too cheap for HBO. I feel bad for the former, and hate the latter. Seriously people, it’s one of the best TV shows out there right now, and if you bring up the fact that it didn’t get a Emmy nomination, you will get slapped.
There is a lot to speculate about, but it seems to me that the most attention is being spent on Eric’s feeling for Sookie. Not me though. My attention is on Eric’s feeling for his maker Godric who has mysteriously disappeared. Eric is full out distraught that Godric is AWOL. Now some might say that it’s like a father/son relationship, others might say it’s like a bromance, but me I say that is some glove (gay love). Let’s get real people (as real as possible when discussing mystical creatures), vampires are sexual creatures. They bite or bang. Eric and Godric are glovers, let the slash fanfiction commence, you naughty bitches.
Okay okay okay, maybe I’m wrong. I mean they kinda foreshadowed Eric’s more than platonic interest for Sookie on tonight’s episode when Eric was talking to Isabel about why she likes to have human companions. All I’m saying is maybe there is more to the story. I mean, in the books that the show is based on, vampires are pansexual, meaning they will fuck just about anything regardless of their biological sex or gender identity. Maybe Eric has a thing for his maker, Godric and the telepathic minx, Sookie Stackhouse. Truthfully I have read the spoilers and I know what’s going to happen but I try to stay open minded for the sake of the show.
